SEP - Search Engine
Positioning. This is the method of optimizing web pages
of a website for the purpose of placing the website in the
top 30 results of a given keyword.
SEO - Search Engine
Optimization. This is the methods in optimizing web pages
for seach engines. These optimization activities are often
specific for the targeted search engine, whether it is keywords,
meta tags, descriptions, content, referral links, popularity
linking and other methods.
SES - Search Engine
Submission. This is the automated submission of web pages
to crawler search engines. It also includes 'guided' submissions
to human-powered search engines and directories.
